Memories of Time....

"MEMORIES OF TIME"

Seems only yesterday, they were small
Full of energy, as they grew tall.
Life was full, of up's and downs....
Their little faces showed smiles... sometimes frowns.

Little personalities different as can be....
Artistic, dramatic, athletic or just feeling free...
They grew and developed the talents each had...
Making the most of life-not easy, without a dad.

Their complaints were few....
They made do with what each had.
They learned to work-and do their chores...
For extra money, to spend at the store.

Then, it seems, in the blink of an eye...
My little ones were sprouting wings...
Doing the things young folks loved to do...
Dancing, cheering, sports and driving cars.

Before I knew it...
Graduation time came....
My little house once full of noise...
Now was growing silent, as each sought out their personal joys.

In time......
Each of my children have special spouses found,
Bringing joy and happiness
Into each of their homes.

LIFE also has brought challenges...
Into our lives....
Empty spots now, that can never be filled...
As Four have made Heaven, their final home....

But just as hard as it is...to have to say good-bye....
Heaven 's doors were opened once more....
And little ones were sent into each home.....
Once again, childrens laughter, brings smiles to one and all....

Yes, it seems only yesterday,
They were small.....
Now they have blest me with Grandchildren
The greatest joy of all.....
